Dr Carla Pascoe Leahy is a Lecturer in Family History at the University of Tasmania. Carla is an expert in Australian motherhood and childhood in the present and the recent past. She recently completed the first major project tracking the overarching history of Australian motherhood, interviewing over 60 diverse women about their experience of becoming a mother, and is now available in her new book.
